ABOUT ME
I am Alexander Yan, a secondary school student currently studying at Steveston-London Secondary School in Richmond, British Columbia. I excel in most subjects at school and also play the piano. Over the past three years, I have consistently demonstrated an excellent understanding of mathematics and want to share my knowledge with monthly materials. I also want to tutor students in piano as I passed my piano practical a few years back.
I play ice hockey with the Richmond Jets U15 age group representative team almost everyday. I hope that I will be able to teach you something whether it be on this website, or through tutoring sessions.

The Royal Conservatory of Music
After a year of preparation, I passed my ARCT performer's piano in June of 2023. Now, after another year, I have passed also the theory components with scores of 93 in both Harmony & Counterpoint and Analysis, and a mark of 95 in Music History in December of 2024.

Grade 9 Pascal Math Contest
CEMC University of Waterloo
I achieved the top 25 percentile in the 2022 Grade 9 Pascal Math Contest by the University of Waterloo CEMC in Grade 5.

U13C President's League
Champions by PCAHA
My ice hockey team won the President's League Championship in the 2022-2023 season playoffs.
